Our innovative approach differs from other forms of traditional therapy in the deliberate use of altered mental states during which we can access unconscious parts of your brain (i.e. the limbic system) to help regulate your emotions and behaviours.

Informed by cutting-edge neuroscience, our model adopts the most rapid and dynamic strategies from modern schools of talking therapies and combines them with the use of clinical hypnosis and mindfulness

By working directly with your unconscious mind through hypnosis, we can help you change negative core beliefs, unhealthy patterns of behaviour or habits and align these with your conscious expectations.

Unlike some traditional forms of psychotherapy (i.e. Psychoanalysis), our approach is solution-focused and does not bring you back to the past. Instead, while acknowledging the importance of earlier experiences, our approach recognises that our current automatic (or unconscious) thinking shapes our feelings and behaviours.

Too often people with emotional problems, anxiety and attention deficit disorders are seen as deficient and lacking what it takes to be healthy and happy. Our mission is to counteract stigma and this negative view by providing effective therapeutic support that improves mental health and wellbeing of the individual which brings life-changing and positive results.

We recognise that we all move up and down on the emotional and mental health spectrum depending on the amount of stress in our life. Our conscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings often work against each other creating inner tension.  When the stress increases this internal conflict is exacerbated. As a result, it creates overwhelming feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, which inhibit our natural ability to think clearly and solve problems. 

 

Our therapist – Dominika Chalder helps our clients to improve their brain’s executive functions such as concentration, emotions regulation, motivation and effort, learning from mistakes, organisation, and social skills as well as how to achieve psychological flexibility and inner resilience to stress.

Through practical psychoeducation and experiential learning, you will absorb skills that are essential in coping better with difficulties without having to spend significant time learning complicated techniques. The aim is to help you resolve your unconscious blocks and develop a greater capacity to think clearly and creatively in any given situation.

Dominika is a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist (under the UK Council for Psychotherapy – UKCP). She also holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Environmental Sciences from University College Dublin.
